I have 12gb of ram, and I use Windows 10. I thought getting the 64 bit version would help (AND YES, I do have a 64 bit computer) but it didn't help in the slightest.

So, lately I've been getting this crash often and been ticking me off to no end, as I have to save every second I make the SLIGHTEST change to something.
